minutes were unanimously approved.
4. The Thanksgiving Potluck had a very good turn out, with 75
people in attendance. Everyone seemed to have a very good
time. A thank you letter was sent to Gregg and Pauletta Jeter
for their support in this event.

6. As of December 1st, the available funds in the Senior Trip
account is $1250.06. The Senior Fundraising account has
$963.24. In the Senior Events Account, there is $1417.59. The
Senior Non- Residents Fee account has $775.00. The total
funds available in the senior account are $4405.89. Ideas for
how to spend the money were discussed. Ms. Si Pate
suggested that we build some sort of shelter or awning over
the sidewalk leading to the back door. Ms. Ginger Spade
mentioned that some floor tile needs to be repaired. Also, the
hand rail in the ladies restroom by Genie’s office is loose and
needs to be fixed. Jill Musser asked if there was any way to
get a new bus, suggesting that we trade advertisement for
financial support. She also recommended that we have our
current bus detailed inside and out. Mr. Paul Gordner asked if
there were any grants available to help us purchase a new bus,
but because we already have a bus, it is difficult to get one. It
was suggested to the Committee that members help find a
company to sponsor the bus. They could try calling or writing
dealerships and asking for their support. It was decided that
we would price an awning for the sidewalk and someone
would look at the tile. It was a good idea to have the bus
detailed and a new bus is in the plan, but it has not been
approved.
7. Changes to the Advisory Committee By-Laws were discussed
in detail. Several changes were made. Members covered 17
Articles and plan to continue the discussion, with Article 18 at
the January meeting.
8. A discussion of the Committee’s goals for 2010 will be picked
up at the January meeting.

10. Comments made by the Committee Members: Paul Gordner
mentioned that the dumpsters in the parking area next to the

They should be moved back 6- 8 feet to allow parking there.
Also, the tree in the front needs to be trimmed.
11. Report from the Recreation Coordinator: N/A
12. The meeting was adjourned at 10:05am.
