Minutes of Planning Commission Meeting May 22, 1967
Members present -Saurenman, Banfield, Grace, Boyce
1.The formation of subcommittees was discussed. Subcommitteesare required in the following areas:
a.Streets, waterways, and other easement right-of-ways(on existing properties and on undeveloped properties)
b, Budget
c.Comprehensive plan and work with Bovay
2.It was decided to contact Walsh to arrange a meeting withBovay Engineers, Inc. to discuss all aspects of their contractwith the city.
3, It was decided to obtain copies of the drainage map of Friendswood to determine its effects on Friendswood properties both existing and proposed.
4.The following will be the approach on zoning:
a.Obtain copies of all ordinances that could apply to zoning.
b.Obtain a copy of the defeated ordinance and modify as required(Dean Saurenman)
5, Mr. Saurenman presented his work on the zoning ordinance for
c01mnission review.
