MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE FRIENDSWOOD
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
July 28, 1983
A Special Meeting of the Friendswood Planning and Zoning Com mission was held at the City Hall on Thursday, July 28, 1983, at 7:30 p.m. with the following members present.
Cress -· Chairman Hoppe Brown Miller Vice Jones
Wity a quorum present and with Beggs absent, the following business was transacted.
The Planning and Zoning Commission called a public hearing on a rezoning request for 3.924 acres from R-2 to R-3 located on East Castlewood.
ANNEXATION
Jess Williams met with the Planning and Zoning Commission. Mr. Williams reviewed the economic factors involved in the City of Friendswood's proposed annexation of Clearwoods Improvement District (Wedgewood Village). He presented his information of estimated revenues and expen ditures fro discussion and questions by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Ralph Miller gave each of the Com missioners a copy of the proposed zoning ordinance for each of them to read for their input and discussion at the next meeting of the Planning and Zoning Com mission.
The meeting was adjourned.
