REGULAR MEETING PLANNING AND ZONING CG1MISSION APRIL 19, 1990 6:30 P.M. AGENDA
A REGULAR MEE"l'ING OF THE FRIENDffi\DOD PLANNING AND ZONING C(M.1ISSION WAS HELD ON THURSDAY, APRIL 19, 1990, AT 6:30 P.M. IN THE CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS. THE FOLLCWING MEMBERS WERE PRESENT:

WITH A QUORUM PRESENT, THE FOLLCMING ITEMS WERE CONSIDERED:
1.CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING THE FINAL PLAT OF 2. 55ACRES INTO 3 LC11'S (CORNER OF MURPHY AND GREENBRIAR) -WICK ESTATES-DAVID J.H. SMITH.
THE CG1MISSION REVIEWID THE FINAL PLAT OF WICK ES'l'ATES. CXM1ISSIONF:R HOLZSCHUH MADE A MOTION THAT THE FINAL PLAT OF WICK ESTATES BE APPROVED. SECOND: KONCABA VOI'E FOR: UNANIMOUS OPPOSED: NOOE MOTION CARRIED.
2.RATIFY AND CONFIRM 'I'HE FINAL PLAT OF 1.14 ACRES INTO 4 LC11'SRESERVE "G" OF PARKWAY SUBDIVISION IN THE SARAH MCKISSICK LEAGUE,ABSTRACT 151 -300 PARKWOOD -IRISH GREEN II -I.OWE.
NOT READY, DEFERRED UNTIL MAY 3, 1990.
3.CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING THE FINAL PLAT OFEAGLE LAKES I -33.3792 ACRE TRACT OUT OF THE SARAH McKISSICKLEAGUE -MITCHELL.
DID NOI' RECEIVE CLEAR CREEK DRAINAGE DISTRICT APPROVAL, DEFERREDUNTIL MAY 3, 1990.
4.CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION RE)3ARDING THE FINAL PLAT OFSUNWOOD -18. 736 BEING AI.J., OF TRACI'S B & C OUT OF BliX::I< 7 OFFRIENDS¼OOD SUBDIVISION LCCATED IN THE SARAH McKISSICK LE:AGUEA-51 (LOCATED ON SUNSET)-BCGREN.
THE CG1MISSION REVIEWED THE FINAL PLAT OF SUNWOOD SUBDIVISION. CI'.rY ENGINEER THCMPSON ADVISED THE CCMMISSION THAT LIEN HOLDER SIGNATURES WERE MISSING FRCM THE MYLARS. CHAIRMAN BAKER REMARKED THAT OCCASIONALLY A SUBDIVISION OOUID HAVE TO BE ACCEPTED BEFORE FUNDING COULD BE OBTAINED. HE 'roLD THE CXM1ISSION THEY C'OULD GRANT CONTINGENT APPROVAL. ca.1MISSIONER HOLZ SCHUH MADE A MOTION 'l'HAT THE FINAL PLAT OF SUNi\-OOD BE APPROVED CONTINGENT UPON THE LIEN HOLDER SIGNATURES BEING AFFIXED ON THE MYLARS.

1 WAS REVIEWED BY THE ca.1MISSION. CCM-ITSSIONER HOLZ SCHUH MADE A
MOTION THAT THE FINAL PLAT BE APPROVED ccw.rINGENT UPON THE
ACCEPTANCE OF MYLARS.

BILL JONES ADVISED THE CCMMISSION THAT '!'HE ORIGINAL PLAT STATED
THAT I.J:JrS 5, 6, & 7, WERE TO BE SINGCE S'.IORIED DWEI.J.,INGS WITH A
HEIGHT RESTRICTION OF 40' • ACCORDING TO THE ORDINANCE, 'l'HE HEIGHT
RESTRICTION MUST BE 35' MAXIMUM. DR. JONES STATED THAT HIS
PURPOSE FOR ca.1ING TO THE PLANNING AND ZCNING cx:MMISSION WAS TO

CHAIRMAN BAKER RF.MARKED THAT HE THOUGHT THE RESTRICTIONS WERE
INDICATED ON THE PLAT IN ORDER TO PROI'EC'T THE CITY SHOULD A PLANE
CRASH INTO ONE OF THE HOUSES. ca.1MISSIONER McHUGH SAID THE
CCM,1ISSION F.AD REVIEWED THE FAA RULES WHO SAID THAT THE CITY WOULD
BE LIABLE SHOULD THERE BE AN ACCIDENT. THESE REGULATION WERE PUT
ON THE PLAT IN ORDER TO P� THE CITY FR<l,1 LIABILITY. DR.
JONES SAID THAT AIL LAND PURCHASERS HAD TO SIGN THAT HE/SHE
UNDF.RSTANDS THAT THIS IS AN AIRSTRIP AND THAT PLANES MIGHT LAND
DAY OR NIGHT. HE ALSO STATED THAT THEY WERE PUTI'ING IN A
VISUAL INSTRUMENT WHICH WILL ASSIST THE PILOTS WHEN FLYING INTO
THE SUBDIVISION. DR. JONES RE)JUESTED TO BE ON THE NEXT P&Z
AGENDA.

CCMMISSIONER WASSON MADE A MOTION THAT THE ZONE CLASSIFICATIONCHANGE REQUEST OF CSC TO SFR ON THE 12.9946 ACRES OF LAND BEAPPROVED.SECOND: COLBURNVOI'E FOR: UNANIMOUSOPPOSED: NONE MOTION CARRIED.
