CHAIRMAN BAKER ASKED FOR CCM-1UNICATION FRCM THE PUBLIC. P.FX:EIVING l\U PUBLIC C<M,1UNICATION, THE FOLLav!NG ITEMS WERE CX)NSIDERED. 1.ffiNSIDERA.TION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING THE CAPITAL.IMPROVEMEN'r PLAN -IMPACT FEE. ENGINEER 'I'H(1.1PSON ADDRESSED THE CCM-1ISSION REGARDING THE PROPERTYLOCATED AT MILIS AND MURPHY AS WELL AS THE NEED 'IO RE-EVALUATE THEAREA WITH REC'.J\RDS TO THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT RECOVERY FF.ES. HEREFERRED THE CC1vlMISSION 'IO THE PROPOSED SCHEDtIT..E, ASKING IF THEREWERE ANY QUESTIONS OR CX)NCERNS. THE CCM1ISSION AGREED TO 'l'HENEX:FSSITY OP THE RE-EVALUATION AND APPROVED THE PROPOSED SCHEDULE. 2.a)NSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING 'l'HE FINAL PIAT OFPOLLY OAKS (RESERVES K&L) OF THE POU,Y RANCH SUBDIVISION -18 rars- GARTRELL. 'I'HIS ITEM WAS NCYr READY FOR CONSIDERATION AND WAS WI'I'HDIW\N FRCM THE AGENDA. 3.ffiNSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REX;ARDING THE FINAL AMENDEDREPLAT OF GREENBRIAR ACRES II -1.9812 ACRE'S, BLCCK 8, CENTRALPARK -MIKE CZARCMITZ. ENGINEER 'I'HOO>SON ADVISED THE ro1MISSION OF THE CHANGES WI'I'HREGARD 'ID THE FINAL REPLAT STATING THAT STAFF 'WAS WAITING FOR ANUPDATED TITLE REPORI' AND APPROVAL FRCl-1 THE CLEAR CREEK DRAINAGEDISTRICT. AS THERE WERE NO CHANGES IN THE ORIGINAL DRAINAGEPROPOSAL, 'I'HCMPSON FELT 'I'HERE i,;oum BE NO PROBLEM WI'I'H C'CDDAPPROVAL. HE RECC1-1MENDED APPROVAL ON 'l'HE FINAL AMENDED REPIATWITH THOSE '1W) CONTINGENCIES • C'CMMISSIONER KONCABA MADE A MOTION THAT THE FINAL AMENDED REPLAT01'"' GREEBRIJ\..R ACRES II BE APP.ROVED PENDING THE CLEAR CREEK DRAINAGEDISTRICT'S APPROVAL AND STAFFS ACCEPTANCE OF AN UPDATED TITLEREPORT.SECOND: COLBURNVOTE FOR: UNANIMOUS f 1 I I l P&Z 11/01/90 OPPOSED: NONE MCYI'ION CARRIED 4.MEEI'ING AND DISCUSSION WITH THE PARKS BOARD REGARDING A .M.ASTERPARI< PLAN -COMPREHENSIVE PLAN. CHAIRMAN BAI<ER WELCCMED THE PARKS BOARD AND EXPIAINED THE C()l'MISSION'S DESIRE TO WORK WITH THEM REGARDING A MASTER PARK PLAN FOR THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD. HE INFORMED THE BOARD OF THE SURVEY WHICH HAD BEEN MAILED our BY PLANNING AND ZONING AND CCM1ISSIONER WASSON EXPLAINED THE RESULTS OF THE SURVEY AS PREPARED BY COMMISSIONER HOLZSCHUH. WASSON DISPLAYED A BRCCHURE 'WHICH IS INDICATIVE OF 'I'HE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN WHICH vn:LL BE SENT OUT BY THE COMMISSION AT A FUTURE DATE. SHE ASKED THAT THE PARKS BOARD WRITE A SUMMARY OF FRIENDffi\WD PARKS AND/OR OOAI.S (HII<E AND BIKE TRAIIS, REGIONAL FACILITIES, ETC. ) WHICH WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE BROCHURE. PENNY BURKE, PRESIDENT OF THE PARKS BOARD, ASI<ED THE CC1-1MISSION FOR THE TIME FFllJJIE TO BE CONSIDERED. IT rlAS SUC-.GESTED THAT A TEN YEAR PROJECI'ION BE CONSIDERED. DISCUSSION FOLI.avED CONCERNING REGIONAL FACILITIES, LAND ACQUISITIONS, FUTURE GRCW.rH, AND PCX:l<F.l' PARKS. MS.
