The plans now reflect a curve in the street extending into Greenbrier, and Dr. Boone stated he had provided for a 801'right-of-way at the back of the Subdivision. The Council was represented at the meeting by Councilman R. J. Blanken and Mayor Ralph Lowe. They asked the Commission to acquire professional advice on street design for better traffic flow within the Subdivision and the continuation for existing streets. The Commission feels it to be advantageous to keep traffic flow fvithin the subdivision at a slow speed thus the extension of Castlewood would hinder the safety of the snhool children, and cause an overflow of traffic for the residents of the Subdivision. The Commission was in favor of the curve into Greenbrier. The Council confers with this idea, but suggested that the Commission have professional guidance.
