The meeting was called to order at 8:15 p.m. Minutes of previous meeting
were not available.
I. Sunmeadow Subdivision Tennis Courts. Ralph Lowe was present with prelimi-
nary plans for tennis courts and club house to be constructed in Sunmeadow
Subdivision. Mr. Lowe was advised this matter should go before the Board
of Adjustment.
II. Renwick Village Subdivision - Preliminary Approval. George Offenberger
submitted preliminary plans for approval. He was advised that before he
submits final plans, the Commission would need to know where the water and
sewer tie into the subdivision and a tap would need to be shown for each
lot, with elevations and locations.
Motion made by Raney, seconded by North to recommend Renwick Village for
preliminary approval. Spears, Raney, North For, Shore Against (because
of overloading of sewer facilities). Motion Passed.
III. Forest Creek_ Subdivision - Preliminary Approval. Preliminary plans had been
submitted by Ray Diamond at Regular Meeting of September 18, 1975. Mr.
Diamond stated that Clearwood Improvement District, which provides sewer
service to Wedgewood Village, would consider annexing Forest Creek if there
was no question regarding Friendswood's Extra -Territorial Jurisdiction. He
stated if he received preliminary approval under our ETJ he would then go
back to Clearwood for approval.
It was noted by the Commission, and red -lined on the preliminary plans, that
instead of the 10 foot side setback as shown, the setback would need to be
20 feet. Mr. Diamond agreed with this request.
Raney moved, Shore seconded a motion that Forest Creek Subdivision be
accepted for preliminary approval as red -lined (with the understanding sewer
will be going to Clearwood Improvement District). Unanimous For.
Mr. Diamond was informed a documentation of acceptance from Clearwood Im-
provement District would be needed before final approval could be made.
(Contingent upon city ordinance giving ETJ approval).
