HomeMy WebLinkAboutP&Z Minutes 1975-08-28 SpecialSPECIAL MEETING OF THE FREINDSWOOD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION August 28, 1975 A Special Meeting of the Friendswood Planning and Zoning Commission was held on August 28, 1975 at the Friendswood City Hall, with Chairman Tracy Spears presiding. Members Present Members Absent Tracy Spears Leah North Clyde Raney Ed Zeitler Bob Phillips Kenneth Fossler Jim Shore (left early) No minutes of previous meeting were available for approval. 1. Petromas Corporation - Rick Cope presented plans for Petromas. Plans for two temporary buildings were presented. Commission approved contingent upon parking being changed so that 12 usable spaces are provided. Raney or Spears to check this and sign when it is changed. Phillips moved, Raney seconded for approval. Unanimous FOR. ll.Renwick Subdivision - George Offenberger appeared before Commission regarding Renwick Subdivision replat. Commission accepted on pre -application. Lot sizes were approved as shown (74 to 78 ft. wide) because of size of surrounding lots and because of replat. 7 and 1/2 foot setback on interior approved for same reason (side setback). Recommend 15 foot side setback on corner lots (and recommend 20 foot on garage setback if possible on corner lots). Commission discussed with him, but did not require, a culvert the length of subdivision, sidewalks, and fence at back of lots. 111.Greenbriar Section III - Final Approval - Plans submitted for final approval. Easement deeds were presented. Motion made by Raney, seconded by Phillips for approval. Unanimous FOR. (Motion stipulated that Tom Heaney, City Engineer, must sign and Bill Olson, City Attorney, must check deeds before they are signed by Spears. IV.Sun meadow Secion II - Final Approva. Plans were submitted for final approval. Raney moved, Phillips seconded, that Sunmeadow Secion II be accepted for final approval with the stipulation that Tom Heaney must sign and minor corrections be made on paragraphs to right of plat before Spears signs. Unanimous FOR. V. There being no further business, meeting adjourned at 10:30 p.m. Secretary
