MINUTES OF A REGULAR MECTING
FRIENDSWOOD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
September 21, 1978
The Friendswood Planning and Zoning Corrmission met in a regular meeting on Thursday September 21, 1978 in the City Hall at 7: 30 p.rn. with the following member's present:

With a quorum present and R., Utley and H. Rawley absent, the following business was transacted:
VAN WILLIAMS -STRECT NAMING COMMITTEE
Mr. Williams spoke to the Comnission concerning the problems of the naming of streets within the city. He suggested that one of the comnissioners be appointed as a czar to resolve the problem, and oversee the street names within new developments to eliminate duplications and confusing street name changes on street continuations.
After considering his suggestion the Corrmission delegated Bob Wicklander for this responsibility.
TED BOGREN -PILGRAMS POINT SUBDIVISION (final)
The rnilar of Pilgr,ams Point Subdivision was presented to the Comnission for final approval. This Subdivision at Winding Way is to contain 34 lots on 33.02 acres with open ditch and 120 1 frontages.

FRENCHMAN'S CREEK -INTERFIELD ENTERPRISES
The plans now show a cul-du-sac instead of the original 1 1 111 turnaround.Mr. Hook is asking for a circular esplanade with a 10 ' radius. There has been a note added on the plat to inform the potential buyers of the elevation of the project, which is below the street elevation at Pine Drive and subject to flood frequencys. The Comnission asked for the streets to be shaded.
The Friendswood Drainage needs more in.formation before giving their approval of the final plat.

JERRY EASON -SUBDIVISION AT SEDORA AND SHADOWBEND (pre-app)
Mrs. Eason is planning a subdivision development of 9 lots facing Shadowbend and Sedora. The water li ne will need to be extended down Shadowbend. The Cormnission advised Mrs. Eason to see the Drainage District. They also asked that it be stated in the covenence that the lots can not be divided.
:MR. OGENHEIM -PROPERTY ON FM 528
Mr. Ogenheim came before the Corronission to discuss 4 acres on IM 528, He wished to purchase the property if it can be rezoned. He asked the Corrmission their feelings on a rezoning. At this time Mr. Ogenheim has no ideas as to the purp ose of a future development.
