Ray Utley -Acting Chairman R.PhillipsJ.TarrH.RawleyP. J. Mize With a quorum present and Tracy Spears absent, the follCMing iterns of business was considered: TED P.OGREN -REPlAT COWARD CREEK II (lots 8, 9, & 10) Mr. Bogren asked for preliminary approval of a property line change between lots 8 and 9 of Coward Creek II. MOTION: (Utley) to approve for prel iminary the replat of Coward Creek II Subdivision. Second: Phillips Vote: Unanirrous FDR MOTION CARRIED GEORGE ROSEN -SHOPPING CENTER ON FM 2351 Mr. Rosen presented plans for a shopping center on FM 2351 at Woodlawn. This bui lding would house retail stores on the lCMer floor with offices on the second floor. The plans show 152 parking spaces , which are an adequate number for the building plans. The Corrrrnission asked Mr. Rosen to consider angular parking, traffic flCM pattern, and car stops at the front of the building. Mr. Rosen will have to obtain approval from the Drainage District and was asked to review the curb cut ordinance. MOTION: (Utley) for preliminary approval contingent on car stops abutting building, and drainage approval. Second: Phillips Vote: Unanimous FOR MOTION CARRIED emus MANTEL -OFFICE ON FM 518. Mr. Mantel is requesting permission to conswuct an office for C & M Landsc aping. The Corrrrnission informed Mr. Mantel a professional engineer would ne�d to be consulted to draw the plans. The windload would have to be considered and a hard surface parking area provided. [' l lJ LEON BROWN -PERRY GROVE (pre-app) Mr, Brown presented plans for a subdivision on Cedarwood for corronent. The subdivision would contain 11 lots of approxiJnate size of 1 acre each. The streets are to be of concrete with open ditch. The Comnission approved the concept. APPROVAL OF MINUI'ES -The minutes of a regular rreeting of July 20, 1978 were approved as read. A motion was made for adj ournrrent. The rreeting adjourned at 10: 00 p.m. Secretary APPRbV:ED:
