J. MizeR.Mora.R.PhillipsH.RawleyJ.Tarr (departed 10: 00 p.m.) With a quonnn present, the following items of bu siness were trans acted: APPROVAL OF MINUI'ES -Minutes of a regular meeting on May 4, 1978 were approved as corrected. KEN P(X,\1ERS -EAGLES POINT (preliminary) Mr. Powers presented preliminary plans for Eagles Point Subdivision containing 63 lots at FM 518 and Leisure Lane. At the present tirre the drainage easements must be approved by the drainage district. Mr. Mitchell stated he would work with the city on street improve­ments and a 60' right-of-way on Leisure Lane for proper egress and engress to the Subdivision. MJI'ION: (Mora) to approve Eagles Point Subdivision for preliminary. Second: Rawley Vote: Unanimous FOR MJI'ICN CARRIED 'IED BCGREN -TEMPLEMAN ACRES ( final) Mr. Bogren presented plans and the Milar for a 1 lot subdivision on FM 528 and Narnia Way. After reviewing the plat a motion was rrade. lV'.OTION: (Mora) to arprove final for Templeman Acres Subdivision. Secona: R. Phillips Vote Unanimous FOR MJI'ION CARRIED TED BCGREN - 'Il-JE PRa.1ISED LAND SUBDIVISION (pre-app ) Mr. Bogren presented plans for a 13 lot subdivision on Cedarwood. It is to have open ditch with concrete street. The 7.16 acre subdivision would drain to the creek in back of this parcel. The Ccmnission were in agreement that the plans conform the the city ordinances. r-1 [ l J MRS. FI.DYD C'CX]<TAN -'!WO COYMERCIAL BUILDil\1GS AT IAUREL & HERITAGE Mrs. Cochran presented plans for a autanobile repair service and an office building facing Laurel. The two buildings are to be rretalic on a tract of land 146' X 260'. The Ccmnission asked if it could be arranged so the garage would be placed on the corner of Laurel and Heritage in order that the office would sc reen fran residential. They also discussed a fence to be JX)ssibly places at the property line. The parking will have to be depicted, and the City Engineer will have to be consulte d on drainage. WIILIAM MURPHY -REZOOING AT SUNSET AND FM 528 FRa-1 C-1 'ID R-3. Mr. Murp hy asked for the rezoning of a tract of land on Sunset to R-3 for the purfX)se of a buffer between a residential and a corrrrercial area. It is his feeling that the rezoninq wo�ld also be in conformance with the property on the other si de of Sun set (the pro_IX)sed Regency Estates). MJI'ION: (Utley) to hald a joint public hearing with the City Council on June 15, 1978 at 8:00 p.m. to rezone 9.58 acres t-eing a JX)rtion of tract Bin block 7 at Sunset Drive between FM 528 and Briarmeadow. Second: Mize Vote: Unanimous FOR MJI'ION CARRIED Mr. Murphy presented plans for a 17 lot subdivision on Sunset with open ditch and concrete streets. This subdivision would be in back of hte area he is wishing to rezone. H & M C'CNTRACTORS -CXM-1ERCIAL BUILDING ON FM 2351 Plans for a previously pro_IX)sed comrercial building on FM 2351 were reviewed for approval. �0TION: (Utley) to approve the camercial building for a permit. Second: Phillips Vote: Unanimous FOR t-4YI'ION CARRIED A r:notion was made for adjournment. The rreetinq adjourned at 10:25 p.m. Secretary APPROVED
