MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING
FRIENDSWOOD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
February 16, 1978
The Friendswood Planning and Zoning Cormnission rret in a regular meeting on Thursday February 16, 1978 at 7: 30 p.m., in the City Hall with the following rrembers present:

With a quorum present the following business was transacted:
WILDERNESS TRAILS SUBDIVISION (final)
A revised plat of Wilderness Trails Subdivision was presented to the Cormnission for final approval. In the plans a gate for security purposes was included. After a discussion Dr. Pioone withdrew the revision. An additional 20' for right-of-way purposes is to be granted to the city and is to be concluded February 21, 1978.
MOTION: (R. Mora) to approve Wilderness Trails Subdivision for final. Second: R, Utley Vote: Unanimous FOR MOTION CARRIED
PUBLIC HEARING (see attached sheet)
APPROVAL OF MINUI'ES -Minutes of a regular rreeting of February 2, 1978 were approved as read. Minutes of a Public Hearing of February 9, 1978 were approved as read.
FAY ZIMMERMAN -"FILM & PHOTOS"
Mr. Zimrnerrran presented a drawing of a structure to be placed at Captian's Corner Shopping Center to be anchored in the parking lot near the FM 518 entrance, The Commission reviewed the placement and the parking area and tabled the subject until the next meeting in order for furthur study of the parking area and possibly another location within the area is determined.

BILL LITTLEFIELD -·FRIENDS CI-R.JRCH ADDITION
Mr. Littlef ield presented plans for two modular buildings to be placed in the present playground area behind the Friends Church on Friendswood Dr. The two buildings will be connected with a covered walkway to the main church. Each of the buildings contain 1,024 square feet. They came before the Cornnission for approval in order to obtain a building permit.
MOTION: ( H. Rawley) to approve Friends Church addition for a building permit. Second: R. Utley Vote: Unanirrous FOR MOTION CARRIED
BUSINESS - The Commission reviewed the draft for a new Land Deve lopment bookle� and fees.
MOTION: (R. Utley) to approve the new Land Developement booklet. Second: J. Tarr Vote: Unanirrous FOR MOTION CARRIED
