FRIENDSWOOD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
July 5, 1979
The Friendswood Planning and Zoning Commission met in a regular meeting on Thursday July 5, 1979 at 7:30 p.m. at the City Hall with the following members pres ent.
T.Spears -ChairmanR.Wicklander -Vice ChairmanG.CressD.H0J_tR, PhillipsH.RawleyR.Wetzel
With a quorum present the following business was transacted. Vickie Black was also present.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Minutes of a Regular Meeting of June 7, 1979 were read and approved as corrected.
LOT IN FRIENDSWOOD FOREST
Mrs. Charles Gramrralva has contacted the Friendswood Forest Neighborhood Committee in regard to the sale of lDt #53.
The lot has approximately 196 1 frontage, Mrs. Grammalva would like to sell it less 10 1 and wants to move over 10' to the next lot (lot #54) owned by her. This is being done because of trees directly on the property line.
The Friendswood Forest Committee acknowledges this transaction and agrees so long as the buyer and seller are in agreement.

MUSTANG MEADOW
Bill Murphy presented plans to take lot 8 (375' wide, & 295' deep) and divide it into 3 residential lots. The lots will be 123.3' wide and 292 1 deep.
Commission informed Mr. Murphy to check the restrictions in the covenants on size of lots. If not prohibited in covenants, ordinance says you can have 3 lot subdivision.
Chairman asked Mr. Murphy to br ing copy of covenants to next meeting.
DUNBAR TOWNHOMES
Mr. Zapalac presented preliminary plat of Dunbar Town Hanes -The plat now shows the creek at the correct location.
Original Plans had 75 units, because of the change of the creek on plans, units were reduced to 60 units on 7.66 acres.
Plans need to go to the Drainage District for approval.
DR. DAWSON
Dr. Dawson presented plans for 5 lots on Greenbrier Dr. Lots are 158 1 frontage and 3. 50 minimum acres.
Chairman·advised Dr. Dawson to have the engineer setup plans under sub-division ordinance, show water & sewer and bring back to next meeting.
STEVE JARNIGAN
Mr. Jarnigan returned before the Cornnission for rrore information regarding the traffic engineers review of the plans on 5.4 acres bounded by Clearview, Quaker Dr., Skyview for developing Duplexs.
Commission informed Mr. Jarnigan the traffic engineer has no objection on the traffic layout. Could go with culdusac on skyview or the way the plans are at the present.
Mr. Jarnigan stated he would prefer to go ahead with the plans for the Duplex Design as they are.

Ted Bogren presented plans for Rancho Viejo II for preliminary. B3.sically the plans are the same presented (6-2-79) for pre-app, with added contours,
Now has the approval of the Friendswood Drainage District.
