MINUTES OF A PUBLIC HEARING
FRIENDSWOOD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
September 15, 1980
The Friendswood Planning and Zoning Commission met in a public hearing on Monday, September 15, 1980 at 8:00 p.m. with the following members present:
R.Wicklander -ChairmanC.BeggsR.WetzelL.BrownG.Cress
With a quorum present and D. Holt and R. At�heson absent, the following item of business was considered:
PUBLIC HEARING -Rezoning Request for the rezoning from C-1 to R-2 within the Sarah McKissick Grant the southhalf of lot 9 block 2 and 83 1 of the rear portions oflots 7 and 8 for the purpose of the construction of aduplex.
The Chairman called the hearing to order and asked the applicant to state his request.
Mr. Matt stated a revision had been made in order to allow the adequate lot size for a duplex. The Chairman asked the Council if they had any questions. There were none other than it possibly being spot zoning if approved.
The Chairman asked the public for any comments. There were none.
MOTION: (Beggs) to approve the request for rezoning and to recommend to Council. Second: Brown Vote: UNANIMOUS FOR MOTION CARRIED
The hearing adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
