FRIENDSWOOD PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION
June 18, 1981
The Friendswood Planning and Zoning Commission met in a regular meeting on Thursday June 18, 1981 at 7:30 p.m. in the City Hall with the following members present:
R.Wetzel -ChairmanR.AtchesonG.CressB.GlinesL.BrownWith a quorum present and C. Beggs and T. Hannsz absent, the following items of business were considered:
REZONING REQUEST -Autumn Hills
After discussion the Commission agreed to hold a joint public hearing on July 16, 1981 at 7:30 p.m. to rezone a 1.815 acre tract of land out of lot 12, block 2, Friendswood Subdivision in the J. R. Williams or Sarah McKissick League, Galveston County from Specific Use (Institution for the Aged) based on compliance with certain conditions to Deletion of Requirement 1. There is to be no access from Shady Nook Street.
REZONING REQUEST -209 E. Shadowbend
After discussion the Commission agreed to bold a joint p�blic hearing on July 16, 1981 at 7:30 p:m. to rezone a tract out of lot 11, block 2, Friendswood, Sarah McKissick or J. R. Williams League, Galveston County from R-2 to C-1.
DISCUSSION � Sign Ordinance
There has been no comment from the City Attorney. The Commission decided to table the subject until a later meeting date.
DISCUSSION -Drainage Resolution
The Commission reviewed the Subdivision ordinance pertaining to drainage along with the comments from the drainage district and City Engineer. Two topics in question are to be sent to the City Engineer for clarification.

LIAISON/ REPORT
Councilwoman Mary Brown informed the Commission the Draiange District is to come to Council Monday July, 22, 1981.
