MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETI'NG
FRIENDSWOOD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
No�ember 19, 1981
The Friendswood Planning and Zoning Commission met in a regular meeting on Thursday November 19, 1981" at 7:30 p.m. in City Hall. The following Commissioners were present:

With a quorum present, the following items of busines s were considered:
BRAD WYATT -SUBDIVIctING AT MILLS AND MURPHY LANE
Mr. Wyatt came before the Commission with a revised dr�wing of a proposed subdivision. It now consist of four lots facing Sunset with 149.6' frontage for each. The C ommission advised him to procede with plans.
SHANNA LOWE -SUBDIVIDING AT MOORE ROAD
Shanna Lowe came before the Commission requesting to subdivide a lot out of-a-154 acre tract on Moore Road. She was advised to check with the Building Department on ordinances pertaining to a private road.
LOUISE BACON -REZONING AT 207 OAK FROM R-1 to R-4
Mr.s Bacon owns seven acres or three lots on Oak in Polly Ranch Estates. She is requesting a zoning change to ��-4. The Commission sat a date for public hearing on December 14� 1981 at 7:30 p.m.
REZONING REQUEST -LOT 114 OF FRIENDSWOOD SUBDIVISION FROM R-1 TO C-1 (FM 2351 & Westfield)
The Commi ssion discussed the request for rezoning. Several of the property owners of the surrounding area were present to voice again their opposition.
The Commissioners voiced various opponions on the request being that commercial not benificial on FM 2351 beyond Sunset and the site would distract from Coward Creek Subdivision.

MOTION: (Hoppe) to reject the request for rezoning lot 114 Friendswood Su bdivision from R-1 to C-1 Second: Cress Vote: FOR Brown, Hoppe, Cress, Beggs,Atcheson AGAI NST Glines MOTION CARRIED

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
MOTION: Cress) to approve the minutes of November 5, 1981 as read. Second: Glines Vote: UNAN IMOUS FOR MOTION CARRIED
A motion was made for adjournment, the meeting adjourned at 9:40 p.m.
