PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
June 2, 198 2
The Friendswood Planning and Zo ning Commission met in a Regular Meeting on Thursday , June 2, 19 8 2, at 7: 30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall. The followingCommissioners were present.

READING AND APPROVAL OF MINUTE S
Mi nutes of a Regular Meeting of May 20, 1982 were approved as read.
CAROL MC DANIEL -PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE CORNER OF EDGEW OOD AND WESTFIELD -POSSIBLE REZONING
Carol Mc Daniel, represent ing the owners , disc ussed the possible rezoning. of 9.2 acres from R-1 to C-1. She told the Commission th e owners would like to have a plant nursery. Commission told Mrs. Mc Daniel this same property had been oefore the Commission and the re was a lot of opposit ion to rezoning it C-1. They told he r the procedure for re 3oning.
TED BOGRE N -SAN JOAQUIN ESTATE S -DR. DAWS ON (43 LOTS)
Mr. Bogren presented a fi nal plat of San Joaquin Estates. Dr. Daws on's prelimin ary plat was subject to (4) items. Dr. Dawson had complied with all but one, signature and approv al from the City Engineer. Commission told Dr. Da wson they would call a Speci al Meeting for June 10, 1982, if the City Engineer made appro val of the final plat before there next Regular Meeting of June 17, 1982.

Mr. Cress discussed th e subdivision ordinance with the other Commissioners an d told them there would be a work sh op meeting with the Ci ty Council on June 14, 1982.
The meeting was adjourned.
