PLANNING AND ZONING CO MMISSION
October 7, 1982
The Frien dswood Planning and Zoning Commission met in a Regular Meeting on Thursday, October 7, 19 82, at 7:30 p.m. in the City Hall. The following Commissioners were present.
Glen Cress -Chairman Ralph Miller Ken Hoppe Billy Glines
With a quorum present, and with Atcheson, Sheeran and Beggs, absent the following business was tr ansacted.
ARCHITECTURAL GUIDELINES SUB-COMMITTEE

The Archit ectural Guidelines Sub-Committee of the Friends wood Future Growth Committee has spent many months, and had many meeti ngs with different grou ps and citizens to determine the wishes of many Friendswood citizens pertaining to the possible landscape and architec tural guidelines for out City. The Committe e would like the Planning and Zoning Commission to review for pos sible additions or changes and forward to the City Council with Planning and Zoning Commissioners recommendations.

A partial re plat of section I of Wi lderness Tr ails changing only the owners and lean holder s.
MOTION: (Mil ler) appr oval of the pa rtial replat of Wi lderness Trails, Section I. The only ch anges being the names of th e owners and lean holders. The replat also requires the appro val and signature of the City Engineer.
SECOND: (Glines) VOTE: Unanimous FOR
LOT -SUNNYVIEW AND QUAKER
MOTION CARR IED
Request for rezoning from R�l to R-2 for a duplex located on the corner of Quaker and Suriny view. After review and discussion Commission feels the density is not in compliance with the ordinance and requested verficiation on th e density.
UT ILITIES FOR DEVE LOPME NT OUTSIDE THE ·crTY
Planning Com mission received a memo from the City Counc il. The Council has received a request to furnish water and sewer se rvices outside the City in Brazoria Coun ty. They would like to have as many mem ber s of the Planning Com m ission meet with them on Monday night October 11, 1982, so they can get their views on what has already become a controversial questi on.
