MINUTE S OF A JOINT PUBLIC HEARING
FRIENDSW OOD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
October 17, 1983
A joint public hearing of the City Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission was held at the City Hall on Monday, October 17, 1983, at 7:30 p.m. with the following members present.
Cress -Chairman Hoppe Beggs Brown Miller Jones
With a quorum present and with Vice absent, the following business was tr ansacted.
F.M. 2351 -R7l to R-3 -WHITMIRE
Mr. Cress, Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission called the public hearing to order. The request is to rezone 4.65 acres on F.M. 2351 from R-1 to R-3 for rental townhomes. The Planning and Zoning Commission has been working with the owner on develop� ment pland for the property. Since an earlier complaint against this rezoning was about children not having a place to play, these plans include a 1 1/2 acre playground and fencing at the rear of the development. Since there were no citiz ens who wished to address the subject, the public hearing was closed.
