MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE FRIENDSWOOD
PLANNING AND ZO NING CO MMISSION
April 21, 1983
A Regular Meeting of The Friendswood Planning and Zoning Commission was held at the City Hall on Thursday, April 21, 1983, at 7:30 p.m. with the following members present.
Cress- Chairman Beggs Hoppe Miller Vice
With a quorum present, and with Brown absent, the following business was transacted.
THE PARK -FINAL
A final plat of The Park was presnted to the Commission. The developers had requested to hold a 10x20 reserve in the entranc e right-of-way to Azalea Way, for the purpose of a guard house. The Commission had conferred with the -City Attorney, who advised them this was not legal. They then asked to hold the reserve for a sign. Glen Cress told the developers he would get the legal opinion of the Ci ty Attorney before the next Planning and Zoning Meeting. They were also advised to have the plat approval from the City Engineer and the CCDD before returning for a final plat approval.
QUAKER VILLAGE
Mrs. Hammersley presented her plat of Quaker Village. The plat still needs approval from the City Engineer and the CCDD before final approval.

The location of the request for rezoning is F.M. 518 and Castlewood. (11. 4 acres)
C-1 now 8.85 request 4.17 to R-4R-1 now 2.55 request 2.55 to R-4Total R-4 7.23
Mr. Montgomery told the Planning and Zoning Com mission he would like to build 64 units.
Mr. Motgomery was advised of the request for rezoning procedures before a pu blic hearing would be called.
FRIENDSHIP VILLAGE -DICK ARNDT
Mr. Arndt has 8 acres located on F.M. 2351, zoned R-3. He would like to build 50 patio homes. Mr. Arndt was given the procedure in land development.
The meeting was adjourned.
