MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE FRIENDSWOOD
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
March 8, 1984
A special meeting of the Friend swood Planning and Zoning Commission was held at the City Hall on Thursday, March 8, 1984, at 7:30 p.m. with the following members present.
Miller -Chairman Hoppe Jones Brown Beggs Cress
With a quorum present and with Holt absent, the following business was transacted.
JOHN OLSON CITY ATTORNEY
City Attorney John Olson reviewed the proposed zoning ordinance prepared by the Planning and Zoning Commission commending them for an excellent job. Attorney John Olson recommended several possible changes and additions.
SAN JOAQUIN -REPLAT SECTION I AND II -BLOCK 2 AND 3 -PRE APP
Dr. Dawson would like to reserve 4 lots to face San Miguel Drive instead of San Joaquin (lots 12,13,24 and 25). The Planning and Zoning Commission told Dr. Dawson they had no objections and to return to their next meeting.

ZONING RECOMMENDATIONS
The Planning and Zoning Commission is recommending to the City Council the rezoning of 4.7936 acres located on F.M. 2351. The property is presently zoned R-1. The request is for 300' to C-1 and the remaining 300' to M-1.
MOTION: (Cress ) To rec ommend to Council the rezoning of 4.7936 acres located on F.M. 2351. The front 300' to C-1 and the remaining 300' to M-1.
SECOND: (Jones) VOTE: Unanimous FOR
The meeting was adjourned.
MOTION CARRIED
