HomeMy WebLinkAboutP&Z Minutes 1984-09-20 RegularI LI MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE FRIENDSWOOD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION September 20, 1984 The Friendswood Planning and Zo ning Commission held a regular meeting on Thursday, September 20, 1984, a� 7:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. The following members were present. Miller -Chairman Hoppe Cress Beggs Brown Holt With a quorum present and with Jones absent, the following business was transacted. SIDEWALKS -FIELDCREEK FOREST SUBDIVISION Ted Bogren presented a plan for 4' sidewalks divided by bomonite stamped divider. The Planning and Zoning Commission had no objections. The Commission received a memo from City Eng ineer, Malcolm Collins giving his approval. (memo HD-039) The proposal is to widen the 24' street to 28' and 32' to include sidewalks along the section which is not curb and cutter. This will allow for al' wide imprint with a 3' wide sidewalk. VICTOR MATHEWS -SEAFOOD MARKET Mr. Mathews is opening a seafood market in the strip center on F.M. 518 near Stop N Go ... The dumpster will be located in front of the center in the easement. The Planning and Zoning Commission had no objections to the plan if a fence is placed on 3 sides of the dumps ter. They advised Mr. Mathews the ocst of moving the fence is F.M. 518 is widened would be his expense not the City's.
