HomeMy WebLinkAboutP&Z Minutes 1984-01-19 Regularf I LJ MINUTES OF A REGULAR ME ETING OF ,THE FRIENDSWOOD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION January 19, 1984 A Regular Meeting of the Friendswood Planning and Zoning Commission was held at the City Hall on Thursday, January 19, 1984, at 7:30 p.m. with th� following members present. Cress -Ch.airman Beggs Jones Hoppe Miller Brown (8:00 p.m.) With .a quorum present and with none absent, the following business was transacted. PARTIAL REPLAT WILDERNESS T-RAILS -FINAL A partial replat of Wilderness Trails was submitted to the Planning and Zoning Commission for final approval. In review of the plat by the Police Department (5) duplicate street names were brought to the attention of the Commission. MOTiON: (Holt) To give final approval, authorizing the Chairman to sign the plat after the street name changes are made. SECOND: (Jones) VOTE: FOR: Cress, Beggs, Miller, Jones, Holt and Hoppe AGAINST: NONE MOTION CARRI ED r ·1 l Page 2 January 19, 1984 HIDDEN PINES -PRELIMINARY A replat of 10.0404 acres (28 lots) part of section 4 of Wilderness Trails to Hidden Pines Subdivision consisting of 4 lots. MOTION: (Hoppe) To give preliminary ap proval to Hidden Pines. SECOND: (Miller) VOTE: FOR:Cress, Holt, Hoppe, Jones, Miller and Beggs AGAINST: NONE MOTION CARRIED PARKWOOD BUSINESS CENTER -BUILDING A AND B Mitch Mitchell submitted plans for a Business Center located on F.M. 528 and Leisure Lane. MOTION: (Jones) To give �pproval subject to review by the City Engineer and the Public Works Director. SECOND: ( Holt) VOTE: UNANIMOUS FOR MOTION CARRIED SAN JOAQUIN SECTION 4 AND 5 -FINAL Dr. Dawson submitted plats of section 4 and 5 of San Joaquin for final approval. They were advised a note requireing sidewalks be placed on the milar and to change set backs on page 5 of the deed restrictions from 20' to 25'. MOTION (Miller) To authorize the chairman to sign the plat after the following changes are made to the milar. SECOND: (Beggs) 1.Sidewalks required2.20' set backs to 25' on page5 of the deed restrictions. r ·1 11 LI Page 3 January 19, 1984 VOTE: FOR: Miller, Cress, Holt, Brown, Beggs and Hoppe ABSTAINED: JONES MOTION CARRIED The Planning and Zoning Commission called a public hearing for February 16, 1984. Gas Sales Line located 500' south of Moore Road from R-1 to Specific Use. ELECTION OF A NEW CHAIRMAN AND VICE CHAIRMAN MOTION: (Brown) To elect by acclamation Ralph Miller as Chairman and Bill Jones as Vice Chairman. SECOND: (Hoppe) VOTE: UNANIMOUS FOR The meeting was adjourned. MOTION CARRIED Rt�e� �
