MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE FRIENDSW OOD
PLANNING AND ZONING COM MISSION
February 2, 1984
A regular meeting of the Friendsw ood Planning and Zoning Commission was held at the City Hall on Thursday, February 2, 1984, at 7:30 p.m. with the following members present.
Miller -Chairman Brown Hoppe Holt Jones Cress
With a quorum present and with Beggs absent, the following business was transacted.
GEMINI OAKS -FINAL -SIGNATURE
A final plat of Gemini Oaks was presented to the Planning and Zoning Commission for signature. The subdivision consi sts of 5 lots and was previously named Whispering Pines Subdivision.
REGENCY ESTATES -EXCHANGE OF LAND BETWEEN CITY AND REGENCY
In exchange for a right-of-way on F.M. 528 the City of Friendswood gave 130' of park property along Hampton Court to build 3 houses (lot s 38,3 9 and 40). In exchange for a recreation site located on Buckingham behind the homes that face Greenbriar the City was given a lot located on the creek end of Greenbriar (lot 11).

The Planning and Zoning Commission requested Mr. Morgan give the status of the following.

REZONING REQUEST
Mr. Cutsinger is requesting the rezoning of 4.79 acres located on F.M. 2351 for the construct ion of 2 buildings. The land is presently zoned R-1. The request is for the front 300' to C-1 and the remaining 300' to M-1. He is to make ap plication for rezoning in the office of the City Se cretary.
TOM KENT -WEDGEWOOD
Mr. Kent owns 1.4992 acres located on F.M. 2351 and Wander ing Trail, which has been annexed by the City of Friendswood. He is requesting the Planning and Zoning Commission recommend his 1.4992 acres be zoned C-1.
REZONING RECOMMENDATION
The Planning and Zoning Commission is recommending by memo to the City Council the rezoning of 2.156 acres located on F.M. 52R and Windsong from R-1 to Spec ific Use Church.
MOTION: (Jones) To recom mend to the City Council the rezoning of 2.156 acres on F.M. 528 and Windsong from R-1 to Specific Use Church.
SE COND : (Brown) VOTE: Unanim ous FOR
REZONING RECOMMENDATION
MOTION CARRIED
The Planning and Zoning Commission is recom mending by memo to City Council the rezoning of 1.206 feet of 30 foot pipeline easement located on the southerly side of Beamer Road from R-1 to Specific Use Pipeline.
