FRIENDSWOOD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
October 16, 1986
The Friendswood Planning and Zoning Commission held a joint public
hearing on Thursday, October 16, 1986, at 7:00 p.m. in the City
Hall Council Chambers. The following Commissioners were present.
Holt - Chairman
Baker
Cress
Todd
Beggs
Ballard
Beeth
With a quorum present and with none absent, the following
business was transacted.
CHAIRMAN HOLT CALLED THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION PUBLIC
HEARING TO ORDER TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:
(1) To consider designation of zoning classifications for
all property formerly a part of the Forest Bend Subdivision.
This area was annexed into the City of Friendswood on
December 16, 1985, by Ordinance No. 85-34.
Chairman Denny Holt addressed Planning and Zoning Commission,
City Council and the•Audience explaining the different zone
classifications being proposed for the Forest Bend Subdivision.
Don Zips and Bob George residing in Forest Bend (Townhomes - Black -
hawk and F.M. 528) expressed their concerns about a proposed
classification located on F.M. 528 (CSC) saying they felt this
zone could be a possible nuisance potential. Mr. Zins and Mr.
George would like to see this particular tract a more restrictive
zone.
Commissioner Holt told the citizens the tract in question is already
partially developed and the size and location meets the requirements
'ia the general description of a CSC zone.
Item (1) of the public hearing was closed.

No one spoke in oposition to the above request.
