The following Commissioners were present. Baker - Chairman Todd Hansen Cress Hines (7:25) Ballard Duane Hengst - CD With a quorum present and with Beeth absent, the following items were considered. CLEAR CREEK DRAINAGE DISTRICT - INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT - PROPOSAL The Commission discussed the importance of the Clear Creek Drainage District, Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission working together on drainage concerns in Friendswood. The CCDD presented for review by the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council a proposed Interlocal Agreement to be considered for adoption by City Council. The Clear Creek Drainage District's point in the agreement is that prior to the City excepting a subdivision for maintenance the CCDD would like to inspect the drainage work for compliance with the specifications that were approved. At this time the Commission sends all plats for the Clear Creek Drainage Districts review and signature before approval for development. It would be City Council's decision to enter into the agreement presented by the CCDD. Commissioner Hansen feels the real concern is that the Planning and zoning Commission sends plats to the Clear Creek Drainage for recommendations where recommendation is in order. The Commission submitts the recommendation to City Council. If the Council does not take the recommendation , then we need communication between the three groups. Commissioner Hansen's would like to continue the same process, but to initiate more communication.
