PUBLIC HEARING FRIENDSW:00 PI.J\NNING AND ZCNING C(M,ITSSIOOIDVEMBER 7, 1988 7:00 P.M.
The Frie ndswood Planning and Zoning Cannission held a joint public hearing on Monday, November 7, 1988, at 7:00 p.rn. in the City Hall Council Chambers. The follc:,,.Jing members were present constituting a quorun.

With a quorum present, and Cress absent, the following item was discussed.

Chairman Baker addressed the group sumnarizing the procedures involved in a zone classification change request. He went on to explain the meeting this evening is to all™ p.lblic in?,1t. The Planning and Zoning Ccmni.ssion will review all data both written and oral received and make a recannendation to City COUncil.
Dr. Bill Jones addressed the Planning and Zoning Ccmnission, City Council and the audience regarding his request for a zone classification change of the 4.2241 acres located on Winding Way. He went on to say the structure will have a� story lobby the remainder to be one story. The design will be similar to the Friendswood Retirement Center located on F .M. 518. Dr. Jones told the group the tract is heavily �ed and they plan to leave as many trees as possible to enhance the grounds of the nursing hane.
No one spoke in opposition. The p.iblic hearing was recessed until November 17, 1988, the next meeting of the Planning and Zoning Cannission .
