A REGULAR MEETING OF THE FRIENDSv-.TOOD PLANNING AND ZONING CCM-1ISSION WAS HELD ON THURSDAY, OCI'OBER 17, 1991, AT 7: 00 P .M. IN THE CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS. THE FOLI.OtITNG MEMBERS WERE PRESENT: BAKER -CHAIRMAN JORDAN KONCABA FINGER WASSON R()lx;ERS THOMPSON -ENGINEER HENRY -DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR BRINKMAN -SEx::RE'"fARY FRANKOVICH -LIAISON WITH A QUORUM PRESENT AND COLBURN ABSENT, CHAIRMAN BAKER CALLED THE MEErING OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING CCM-1ISSION TO ORDER ASKING FOR CCMMUNICATIONS FRCM THE PUBLIC. WITH NO PUBLIC Ca.1MENT, THE FOI..J.a<JING ITEMS WERE CONSIDERED, 1.CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING THE FINAL PLAT OF FORES'IWCOD SUBDIVISION LOCATED ON FRIENDSWOOD-LINK ROAD - MUNICIPAL ENGINEERING. MIKE KINDRED PRESENTED THE FINAL PLAT OF FORES'.IWX)D SUBDIVISION. MR. KINDRED REMINDED THE Ca.1MISSION OF THE LOCATION OF THE PROPERrY, STATING THAT IT HAD BEEN A CCMMERCIAL RESERVE WHICH HAD BEEN REZONED FOR SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL. THE CCM-1ISSION REVIEWED THE PLAT. CHAIRMAN BAKER ASKED IF THERE WERE ANY PIPELINES AND MR. KINDRED SAID THAT THERE WAS 'NOT. DISCUSSION FOI..J.a<JED REGARDING SIDEWALKS AND DRAINAGE. SEx::OND: KONCABA VOTE FOR: UNANIMOUS OPPOSED: NONE MOl'ION CARRIED 2.ZONE CLASSIFICATION CHANGE !@2UEST FRCM CSC (CQ.\1MlJNITY SHOPPING CENTER DISTRICT) TO MFR-H (MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DWELLING DISTRICT -HIGHEST) FOR 8 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED ON FM 518 AT BRAZORIA COUNTY LINE -HAUSMAN. THE CCMMISSION CALLED A PUBLIC HEARING FOR DECEMBER 2, 1991. ADDENDUM 10-17-91 9:00 A.M. CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING AN AMENDMENT TO CLARIFY THE RECCMMENDATION MADE BY THE PLANNING AND ZON ING CCMMISSION REGARDING THE SP-TEMPORARY BATCHING PLANT TO ADD THAT THE 24 MONTH RECCMMENDATION SHOUID BE IN 4 -180 DAY INCREMENTS AS !@2UIRED BY THE ZONING ORDINANCE. FURI'HER RECQ.\1MEND THAT THE f l I u P&Z October 17, 1991 Page 2 PERMIT WOUID AU'IQ.1ATICALLY RENEW A'I' THE EXPIRATION OF EACH 180 DAY INCREMENT. CHAIRMAN BAI<ER INFORMED THE CCMMISSION OF THE REASON FOR THE AMENDMENT. COOMISSIONER JORDAN MADE A MarION THAT THE ORIGINAL RECCM,IENDATION BE AMENDED TO REFLECl' THAT THE 24 MONTH REC<lv1MENDATION SHOUID BE IN 4 -180 DAY INCREMENTS AS REQUIRED BY THE ZONING OR DINANCE. SHE FURI'HER RECOMMEND THAT THE PERMIT BE AUia.1ATICAIJ,Y RENEWED AT THE EXPIRATION OF EACH 180 DAY INCREMENT. SECOND: ROGERSV011E FOR: UNANIMOUS OPPOSED: NONE MarION CARRIED 3 • CCMPREHENSIVE PLAN (M. W. ) CCMMISSIONER WASSON SAID THAT THE CCMMISSION WAS WAITING FOR THE PARKS RECCMMENDATION. SHE SAID THAT PENNY BURI<E HAD TOID HER THEY WOUID BE RF.ADY WITH A REC<M-IBNDATION Sa-1E'I'IME IN DECEMBER.
