AGENDA A REGULAR MEEI'ING OF THE FRIENDSYXX)D PLANNING AND ZONING C(M,ITSSION WAS HEID ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, AT 7:00 P.M. IN THE CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS. THE FOLI..CWING MEMBERS WERE PRESENT: BAKER -CHAIRMAN FINGER KONCABA JORDAN RODGERS WASSON FRANKOVICH -COUNCIL LIAISON THCMPSON -CITY ENGINEER HENRY -DEVELOPMENT COORDINA'IDR BRINKMAN -SECREI'ARY WITH A QUORUM PRESENT AND WITH CCM-1.ISSION COLBURN ABSENT, CHAIRMAN BAKER CALLED THE MEETING 'ID ORDER AN ASKED FOR ANY CCM1UNICATIONS FRCM THE PUBLIC. WITH NO PUBLIC ca-1MENT, THE FO�ING ITEMS WERE CONSIDERED: 1.CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE RECCM-1ENDATION 'ID CITY COUNCIL FOR THE ADOPTION OF THE PROPOSED UPDATED ZONING MAP. ENGINEER THCMPSON PRESENTED THE ZONING MAP, STATING THAT THE CURRENT ZONE CHANGES, NEW SUBDIVISIONS, EIC. WERE DISPIAYED ON THE PROPOSED MAP. HE ALSO COMMENTED THAT THE CITY'S PI.m'l'ER WAS Nm' WJRKING PROPERLY AND HE WAS NCfI' ABLE 'ID OBTAIN MAPS FOR ALL THE CCM,1ISSIONERS. THCMPSON ADVISED THE CCM4ISSION THAT MAPS OOULD BE MAILED 'ID EACH OF THEM FOR THEIR REVIEW SO THAT THE MAP AND POSSIBLE RECCM-1ENDATION REGARDING THE ADOPTION OF THE MAP, MIGHT BE DISCUSSED AT THEIR NEXT REGULAR MEEI'ING. 2.PRE-APP FOR RESERVE F -POLLY RANCH (1/2) -GARI'RELL. THE Ca-1MISSION REVIEWED THE PROPOSED PIAT OF 1/2 OF RESERVE F AND AGREED WITH THE CONCEPT; HCMEVER, QUESTION AROSE AS 'ID RATHER OR N'OI' THE PROPERTY HAD BEEN LEGALLY SUBDIVIDED INTO '!WO PIOCES. THIS WILL BE INVESTIGATED. 3.CCMPREHENSIVE PLAN (M. W. ) COUNCIIMEMBER FRANKOVICH ASKED THE STATUS OF THE PARK ORDINANCE THAT CCM,1ISSIONER WASSON HAD PRESENTED. HE REMINDED THE CCM,1ISSION THAT IT HAD BEEN FORWARDED 'ID THE PARKS BOARD WHO CAME BACK 'ID THE C(M,ITSSION WITH THE RECCMMENDATION THAT EACH NEW Hct-1E BE ASSESSED A PARK FEE 'ID DEVELOP CCM4UNITY PARKS. HE STATED THAT HE WOULD LIKE 'ID SEE THE ITEM PUT BACK ON THE AGENDA FOR CONSIDERA'l'ION AND SAID THAT HE THOUGHT THAT THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE vX)lJLI) CCME BACK 'ID THE Ca-1MISSION WITH THE PARKS BOARD POLICIES. WASSON STATED THAT THE PARKS BOARD REJECl'ED THE IDEA OF INDIVIDUAL SUBDIVISION PARKS. SHE WILL SPEAK WITH THE PARKS BOARD.
