IN THE CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS. THE FOLLCMING MEMBERS WERE PRESENT: BAI<ER -CHAIRMAN FINGER McHUGH JORDAN DICKSON VAN DYKE KONCABA THCM'SON -CITY ENGINEER HOOVER -CITY PLANNER HENRY -DEVELOPMENT COORDINA'IDR BRINKMAN -SOCRE:l'ARY WITH A QUORUM PRESENT AND NONE ABSENT, 'l'HE FOLLCMING ITEMS WERE CONSIDERED: 1.CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING THE FINAL PLAT OFHUNTINGTON WOODS PROFESSIONAL PARK -LENTZ AL LENTZ REVIEWED THE PLAT WITH THE CCT-1MISSION. CCM'1ISSIONERFINGER MADE A Mal'ION 'ID APPROVE 'l'HE FINAL PLA'r OF HUm'INGI'ON WOODSPROFESSIONAL PARK.SOCOND: KONCABAVOI'E FOR: UNANIMOUSOPPOSED: NONE MOI'ION CARRIED 2.CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING THE FINAL PLAT OFMELODYWOOD SUBDIVISION -LENTZ THIS ITEM WAS NOT READY AND WAS PASSED OVER BY THE C<M,ITSSION. 3.CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE REX::Cl-1MENDATION REGARDING THE SITE PLANFOR IRISH GREEN II. THIS ITEM WAS NOT READY AND WAS PASSED OVER BY THE CCM1ISSION. 4.PRE APP HEETER TRACT -14 ACRES INTO 28 LOTS -RUCKER THIS PROPERTY IS ADJACENT 'ID THE BRIARWOOD SUBDIVISION APPROVEDAPPROXIMATELY SIX MONTHS AOO IN PEARLAND WITH THE DEI'ENTION PONDIN FRIENDSWOOD. THE CCM1ISSION REVIEWED 'l'HE PROPOSED PLAT ANDAPPROVED 'rHE CONCEPT. 5.ca-1MUNICATIONS FROO THE PUBLIC PAUL HAUN, LAURELFIELD Hc::MECWNER' S ASSOCIATION, ADDRESSED THECCM1ISSION. HE STATED THAT ON APRIL 20, 1993 THERE WOULD BE A MEETING OF FRIENDS¾DOD Hc:MEX:mNERS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS MEETING WOULD BE 'ID UNITE IN AN EFFORI' 'ID PROVIDE BETTER INPUT 'ID THE PLANNING AND ZONING CCMMISSION. HE INVITED THE CCM'1ISSION 'ID r [ P&Z Page 2 ATI'END THE MEEI'ING. HAUN ALSO PRESENTED A LIS'l' OF SUGGESTIONS REGARDING THE PROPOSED UPDATE TO THE PERMITTED USE TABLE OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE. THE H�RS OF MILLS AND MURPHY AND STONOCIPHER SUBDIVISIONS WERE PRESENT TO PROI'EST THE SUBDIVISION OF LOT 1 OF THE STONOCIPHER SUBDIVISION. CHAIRMAN BAKER STATED THAT THE C(M,USSION HAD Nar HEARD OF A PROPOSAL TO SUBDIVIDE ANY SUCH PROPERI'Y. RANDY BARR ADDRESSED THE C(M,USSION BY STATING THAT IT WAS HIS INTENT TO PURCHASE THE PROPERI'Y IN QUESTION AND TO SUBDIVIDE IT INTO THREE LOTS. IT WAS DETERMINED THAT A PUBLIC HEARING OOULD HAVE TO BE HELD IN Aca)RDANCE WITH THE LAWS THAT GOVERN A REPI.AT. BAKER ADVISED THE GROUP THAT THEY WOUID HAVE TO MAKE '!'HEIR CCM1ENTS AT THE PUBLIC HEARING. 6.C<M,1UNICATIONS FRCM '!'HE PLANNER DAVID HOOVER ADDRESSED THE C<M-ITSSION REGARDING A OORKSHOP THAT WILL BE HELD ON APRIL 12, 1993. THIS OORKSHOP WILL BE A JOINT MEETING WITH THE CITY COUNCIL AND WILL BE FOR DAVID TO PRESENT HIS IDEAS RF.GARDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE PERMITTED USE TABLE. HE EXPIAINED THAT HIS PURPOSE WAS TO GIVE GUIDELINES WHICH MIGHT ELIMINATE SCME UNNOCESSARY OORK AND CONFUSION FOR THE CCMMISSION. THE C(M,USSION AGREED THAT A OORKSHOP OOULD BE BENEFICIAL. 7.MINUTES FOR APPROVAL -JANUARY 21, 1993; FEBRUARY 4, 1993;FEBRUARY 22, 1993; MARCH 4, 1993; AND MARCH 22, 1993. 'VYJJ� RF.AD •
