THE CCM"1ISSION REVIEWED THE PROPOSED PI.Kr OF WEBm,coD SUBDIVISION AS PRESEN'IED. MR. WEBB STA'l'ED THAT HE WANTED TO DEVELOP THE 5 ACRE TFACT IN'IO 3 / 4 ACRE HOMESITES. HE ASKED IF HE WOULD BE ABLE TO GET WATER AND SEWER FRCM THE CITY OF FRIENDSWCOD. HE FURI'HER STATED 'J.HAT HE RECEIVED WATER SERVICE FRCM PF.ARLAND; Ha<lEVER, TllE CITY. WEBB THAT A CUL-DE-SAC WOULD PROBABLY BE REQUIRED ON CRAWFORD PROVIDING THAT THE S'.rREh"T EXTENSION DID NOI' EXCF.ED 600 FOOl' LENGTH LIMITATION AS PER 'l'HE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE. AN ADDI'rIONAL PROBLEM IS THA'l' 'l'HERE IS ONLY 40' RIGHT-·OF-WAY ON CRAWFORD. A STM1DARD 28' STREET REQUIRES 60' OF RIGHT-OF-WAY AND UNLESS THERE IS A STATE LAW 'I'HAT ALLCWS A 28' STREET ON AN EXISTING 40' F!:Jl,l, MR. WEBB WILL HAVE TO DROP P:hO-i 6 rms TO 5.
