LEAGUE, ABSTRACT 2, GALVES'IDN COUNTY, TEXAS, ACCORDING 'ID THE MAP OR
PLAT THEREOF RECORDED IN VOLUME 215, PAGE 394 OF THE COUNTY CLERK'S
RECORDS OF GALVES'IDN COUNTY, TEXAS.
SONNY STEVENS ADDRESSED THE Cet-1MISSION AND COUNCIL, STATING THAT HIS
PROPOSED BUILDING WOULD HAVE A RESIDENTIAL FLAIR WITH A VIC'IDRIAN STYLE
EXTERIOR WHICH WOULD, IN HIS OPINION, BE AESTHETICALLY PLEASING 'ID THE
NEIGHBORING Cet-1MUNITY. CCMMISSIONER FINGER STATED THAT THE ZONE
CLASSIFICATION CHANGE REQUEST WAS FRCM SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL 'ID A
PLANNED UNIT DISTRICT AND ANY USE OF THE PROPERTY WOULD REQUIRE AN
ADDITIONAL PUBLIC HF.ARING FOR A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT. THE USE COULD NCYI'
BE CONSIDERED AT THIS PUBLIC HEARING. THERE WERE APPROXIMATELY FIVE
PIDPLE WHO SPOKE REGARDING THE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT. THEY WERE
CONCERNED WITH THE GRCMING NUMBER OF PUD'S AND HAD YET 'IO HAVE A PUBLIC
HEARING FOR 'I'HE SPECIFIC USE. THE CITIZENS WERE CONCERNED THAT THERE
MIGHT BE A MISUNDERSTANDING OF THE PROCEDURES.
ONE CITIZEN SAID THAT HE HAD BEEN '!OLD THAT THE WIDENED ROAD WOULD
EXCEED THE F'.LCM LIMIT WITH THE NEXT 3 'IO 5 YEARS. STAFF WILL VERIFY
THOSE FIGURES. WITH NO FURTHER CCM-IBNT, THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED.
1.CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE RECCM,1ENDATION REGARDING THE SITE PLAN
FOR BRAI<E MASTERS.
THE CCM-1ISSION REVIEWED THE PROPOSED SITE PLAN. Cet-1MISSIONER
CRESS STATED THAT HE WOULD LIBE 'ID HAVE SEEN MORE LANDSCAPING.
Cet-1MISSIONER DICKSON MADE A IDI'ION 'ID RECCMMEND THE SITE PLAN 'ID
CITY COUNCIL FOR APPROVAL.

2.CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION RF.GARDING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT
OF SCHULTZ CENTRE LCCATED ON FM 528 ADJACENT TO THE LIGHT HOUSE.
GREGG PHIPPS WITH COSTANZA ENGINEERING REVIEWED THE PROPOSED PLAT
WITH THE CCMMISSION. THERE WAS CONCERN ABOUT THE EASEMENT THAT
HAD BEEN GRANTED TO DICK DAUGIRD FOR ACCESS TO HIS PROPERTY AND
THE AGREEMENT FOR ADDITIONAL PARKING FOR DAUGIRD'S BUSINESS.
DISCUSSION FOIJ..CWED REGARDING THE AGREEMENT AND WHETHER OR NOT IT
HAD BEEN A VERBAL AGREEMENT OR BY SEPARATE INSTRUMENT, AND WOULD
THERE BE ENOUGH REMAINING PROPERTY FOR A LEGAL SUBDIVISION. MR.
PHIPPS WAS ADVISED BY THE CCMMISSION THAT FURTHER INFORMATION
WOULD BE REQUIRED BEFORE ACTION COULD BE TAKEN ON THE PRELIMINARY
PLAT.
3.CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT
OF VOSS ADDITION NO. 1 LCCATED ON FM 528 CLOSE TO WINDING WAY.

JAMES THCTvlPSON WITH LENTZ ENGINEERING PRESENTED THE PLAT FOR
VOSS ADDITION NO. 1. THE PROPERTY IS ZONED OFFICE PARK DISTRICT
(OPD) AND IS A LI'ITLE SHORI'ER IN DEPTH THAN THE ADJACENT PROPERTY
WITH EXISTING BUI WING. DISCUSSION FOIJ..aA]E[) AND REFERENCE WAS
MADE TO A PLAT·NOTE REGARDING ACCESS TO THE ADJACENT PROPERTY.

PROVIDING THAT THE REFERENCED PLAT NOTE REGARDING ACCESS BE PLACED
ON THE FINAL MYLAR AND THAT THE PROPERTY IS SH™N IN RELATION TO
THE WHOLE TRACT.

CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING THE FINAL PLAT OF
MELODY PLAZA LCCATED AT MELODY AND FM. 2351.
o:::MMISSIONER WASSON ASKED FOR A PLAT NOTE SHCM:NG ACCESS AND
PARKING TO THE INTEGRATED SITE PLAN, STATING THAT ACCESS CANNOT BE
RESTRICTED. CCMMISSIONER FINGER STATED THAT HE WANTED TO LIMIT
ACCESS 'ID FM 2351. WITH NO FURTHER CCM1ENT, ca.1MISSIONER WASSON
MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE THE FINAL PLAT WITH THOSE CHANGES.

5.CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING THE FINAL PLAT OF
CENTENNIAL OAKS.
THIS PLAT WAS PREVIOUSLY CALLF.D CHARLESTON AND WOODCREST. THERE
IS SCME QUESTION AS TO THE NAME CENTENNIAL OAKS ALSO DUE TO THE
PARK BEING NAMED CENTENNJAL PARK. DISCUSSION FOLl.ONED REGARDING
THE DETENTION POND AND THE MAINTENANCE THEREOF. IT WILL BE
MAINTAINED BY THE H�R' S ASSOCIATION EXCEPT FOR RESERVE A.
RESERVE B WILL HAVE RECREATIONAL USE AS THIS IS THE SITE OF A LAKE
AND THE OW LAND FILL AREA. CCMMISSIONER FINGER STATED THAT A
