CCM1ISSIONER WHI'ITENBURG MADE A t-'.DTION 'IO RECCM1END TO CITY COUNCIL THAT THE PROPOSED ENTRYWAY OVERLAY AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE BE APPROVED. SECOND: DICKSON VCYI'E FOR: UNANIMOUS OPPOSED: NONE MOTION CARR1ED 2.CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE EECCM-1ENDATION REGARDING THE FINAL SITE PIAN OF IRISH GREEN II, BUILDING G-2. DAVID O'FARRELL OF O'FARRELL REALTY ADDRESSED THE CCM1ISSION REGARDING THE FINAL SITE PLAN OF BUILDING G-2. THE CCMMISSION REVIEWED THE SITE PIAN. CCM.fiSSIONER CRESS EXPRESSED HIS CONCERN WITH THE I.J.\l,IDSCAPING. IT WAS HIS OPINION THAT THE LANDSCAPING WAS NOT ADEQUATE Al\lD DID IT MEET THE REQUIRilIBNTS OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE. COMMISSIONER WHITTENBURG STATED THAT 0�1E OR 'IWO OF THE PARKING SPACES COULD BE USED AS LANDSCAPE ISLANDS; HavEVER, CRESS S'rA'fi-:1) �['HNI' THIS CAN ONLY BE OONE IF THERE IS ALREADY ADEQUATE LANDSCAPING. TI-lERE IS ONE EXTRA PARKING SPACE AND WITH THE USE OF THAT SPACE FOR LANDSCAPING, CCM1ISSIONER WHITI'ENBURG FELT THAT MR. O'FARREL IDUID HAVE THE REQUIRED LANDSCAPING. BOTH CCfflISSICNERS CRESS AND WASSON STATED THAT THEY wour D LD<E TO SEE THE BUILDING M)VED BACK IN ORDER THAT IT MIGHT BE IN ALIGNMENT WITH THE ADJACENT STRUCTURE, BUT MR. 0' FARPfil STATED THAT HE WAS NCYI' ABT.E 'IO M)VE THE BUILDING. CITY ENGINEER KNEUPPER STATED HE IDULD LIKE 'IO SEE THE DRAINAGE CALCULATIONS BEFORE IT WAS APPROVED. THE DRAINAGE PLAN FOR THIS AND ADJACENT PROPERTY WAS INCORPORATED INTO THE PARI<.l'VCX)D VIIJ.,A(',,E PLA'r WHEN rr WAS APPROVED. MR. 0' FARREIJ, STATED THAT HE HAD A LETI'ER FRCM CLEAR CFEEK DRAINAGE DISTRICT 'IO THAT EFFECT. CCfflISSIONER CRESS STATED THAT HE COULD NOT SUPPORT THE SITE PLAN UNDER PRESEN'r CIRCUMSTANCES, BUT WOULD GIVE CONSIDERATION IF MR. O'FARRELL AGREED TO MOVE THE BUILDING BACK 'IO LINE UP WITH THE EXISTING STRUCTURE TO PROVIDE FOR A LANDSCAPE BUFFER. SF.COND: DICKSON VOTE FOR: WHI'ITENBURG, DICKSON, AND WASSON OPPOSED: CRESS tv'.iOTION FAILED 3.WORI<SHOP AND DISCUSSION REGARDING THE CCMPREHENSIVE PLAN. C(l.1MISSIONER CRESS PRESENTED SEVERAL CHANGES AND CONSIDERATIONS REGARDING THE CCMPREHENSIVE PLAN.
