HomeMy WebLinkAboutP&Z Minutes 2000-03-16 Regularl l Minutes of a Regular Meeting of the Friendswood Planning and Zoning Commission March 16, 2000 7:00 p.m. A regular meeting of the Friendswood Planning and Zoning Com mission was held Thursday March 16, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 910 S. Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas. The following members were present: Finger -Chair McVeigh Clark Burke Benthul Hodge -City Engineer Henry -Development Coordinator Mickelson -City Attorney Lamb -Secretary \.Vith a quorum present, Chair Finger called the meeti ng !O order to consider the following: 1.A.Minutes for Approval: October 7, 1999, October 21, 1999, January 27, 2000, February 3, 2000, February 17, 2000 and March 2, 2000 Motion to approve: Benthul Second: Burke Vote: Unanimous Minutes approved B.Communications from the public -None Old business tabled items: 2.Consideration and possible action regarding a request for variance to the subdivision ordinance regarding an access easement for the Lacabe Property located on Queens Lane. Disposition: Item remains on table. Temporary business: 3.City Attorney still sorting through all the comments from the last time it was brought up for discussion, trying to come up with a cohe rent proposal that can go forward to council do not have anything at this time. Disposition: Item deferred until a later meeting.:. New business: 4.Consideration and possible action regarding Commercial Site Plan Approval Procequre. Recommend to council removal of the requirement for final site plan approval by Council from the Zoning Ordinance.
