HomeMy WebLinkAboutP&Z Minutes 2000-01-20 Regularr : l Minutes of a Regular Meeting of the Friendswood Planning and Zoning Commission January 20, 2000 A regular meeting of the Friendswood Planning and Zoning Commission was held Thursday, January 20, 2000 AT 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 910 S. Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas. The following members were present: Finger -Chair McVeigh Burke Measeles -Council Liaison Jackson -CCDD Liaison Mickelson -City Attorney Hodge -City Engineer Lamb -Secretary Benthul Bertrand -7:50 With a quorum present, Clark and Frankovich absent, the meeting was called to order to consider the following: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. A.Minutes for approval - October 18, 1999; January 13, 2000 - approved as corrected. November 18, 1999; December 16, 1999; January 3, 2000; January 6, 2000 - approved as read. B.Communications from the public -none Final amended plat of Windsor Estates Section 2. Motion: Burke -to grant approval Second: Benthul Vote for: Unanimous Motion Carried Final Plat of Autumn Creek Section 4. Motion: McVeigh -to grant approval Second: Benthul Vote for: Unanimous Final Plat of Autumn Creek Section 6. Motion: Benthul -to grant approval Second: McVeigh Vote for: Unanimous Motion Carried Motion Carried Final Site Plan of Bank One (FM 528 -Albertson's Center). The photometric layout indicates light spillover to the adjacent parking lot of Albertson's Center. The developer must redo lighting so that light does not spill over. Motion: McVeigh -to recommend approval with a condition that light does not spill over to adjacent property. Second: Benthul Vote for: Unanimous Motion Carried Final Site Plan of Alton Todd Law Office (Old Brown House). Motion: Benthul -to recommend approval Second: Burke Vote for: Unanimous Motion Carried f l I ( P&Z 1/20/2000 Page 2 7.Discussion and possible action regarding the following: A.Temporary Vendors -Commissioner McVeigh distributed copies of the League City's Ordinance. B.Cluster Housing -P&Z set a tentative meeting with Developers for 2/10/00. 8.Communications from: A.Staff -none B.CCDD Liaison -spoke about the TWCA meeting and mitigation of flood plane. C.Council Liaison -spoke about TNRCC and waste water reduction, also about the move to adopt the International Building Code. D.Commissioners -Lighting at the Baptist Church and the FISD bus barn was discussed as was "cars for sale" at the new paint and body shop on FM 2351.
