Minutes of a Regular Meeting
of the
Friendswood Planning and Zoning Commission
April 6, 2000
A regular meeting of the Friendswood Planning and Zoning Commission was held
Thursday, April 6, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 910 s.
Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas. The following members were present

With a quorum present, Chair Finger opened the meeting to consider the following:
Call to Order
1.A. Minutes for Approval:
March 16, 2000; and March 20, 2000.
Motion: Frankovich -to approve
Second: McVeigh
Vote for: Unanimous Motion Carried
B.Communications from the Public • None
New Business
2.Consideration and possible action regarding a request for a Specific Use Permit -
Day School (Friendswood Montessori School) located at 809 S. Friendswood
Drive.
Motion: Benthul -recommend approval
Second: McVeigh
Vote for: 6-0 with Burke abstaining. Motion Carried
3.Consideration and possible action regarding a request for a Specific Use Permit -
Day Care located at FM 2351/Wandering Trail, Wedgewood Village Subdivision.

Vote for: 6-0 with Burke abstaining. Motion Carried
Consideration and possible action regarding a request for Modifications to the
Subdivision Ordinance regarding an access easement for the LaCabe property
located on Queens Lane.

Discussion was held regarding the proposed Timber Creek Golf Club and adjacent
area. Dan Rucker, developer for the property, made a presentation regarding the
property and adjacent areas.
