Minutes of a Special Meeting
of the
Friendswood Planning & Zoning Commission
October 29, 2003
A special meeting of the Friendswood.Planning & Zoning Commission was held Wednesday,
October 29, 2003 at 4:00 p.m. in the second floor conference room located at 910 S.
Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas.
The following Commissioners were in attendance:
Bob Bertrand, Tom Burke, Kevin Holland
Additional members of the Tree Preservation Ordinance Super Sub-committee in attendance
were:
Greg Crinion, James Gerland, Bill Finger, Tony Banfield, Judy Kimmell, Susie Westphal,
Tracy Goza (Council_Liais_on).
Staff members included:
Ron Cox, Karen Capps, Mike Hodge, Dan Johnson and Diana Steelquist
With a quorum of the Tree Preservation Ordinance Super Sub-committee present, Chairman
Bertrand called the meeting of the sub-committee to order.
Call to order:
1.Meeting of the Tree Preservation Ordinance Super Sub-committee.
The attending Planning & Zoning Commissioners participated as members of the sub
committee in the discussion and actions of the Tree Preservation Ordinance Super Sub
committee. Minutes of the 10-08-03 meeting were approved. Meeting dates in
November were scheduled for 11-12 and 11-24. The goals of the proposed ordinance
including tree removal pe1mits and tree surveys were discussed.
2.Adjournment.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:00 P.M.
