September 22., 1992
Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the. Zoning Board. of
Adjustment of the City, of Friendswood which. was held. at City
Hall on September. 22, 1992 with the. following members
present constituting a quorum:
ChairmanWilliam H. Taylor.
Regular Member Dr. Tom Sullivan.
Regular Member David O'Brien
Regular Member Ann Talbot
Alternate Member. Larry Seelig
Sign Code Enforcement Officer Linda Taylor
Secretary Linda Thornton
Chairman Taylor called the meeting to order at 7:20 P.M.
Chairman Taylor called the Public Hearing to order to
receive public input regarding request on seeking variance
at 720 FM 528, Regency Court Subdivision, for proposed.
building to exceed 35' maximum height (to be 46' in height)
in community shopping center.
Discussion followed, with Dr. Jones and Mr. Tommy Rives
explaining their request.
Mr. Ernest Schroeder at 1514 Regency Ct. ,, discuss.ed the.
request but did not object.
No one opposed the request.
At this time the public hearing was closed.
Chairman Taylor called the Public Hearing to order to
receive public input regarding request on seeking variance
at 4215 Townes Forest Road, Lot 14, Block 3, Forest Creek
Subdivision, Friendswood, Texas, Harris. County, for side set
back of 6 ' 10 1/2" .
Discussion followed, with Mr. Wilkinson explaining his
request.

No one spoke opposed the request.
At this time the public hearing was closed.

* Ann Talbot made the motion to grant the Glennshannon.
request for a variance.
David O'Brien seconded the motion.
The motion was approved unanimously.
* Larry Seelig made the motion to grant the Oak Brook •
Builders request for a variance.
Ann Talbot seconded the motion.
The motion was approved unanimously.
* Dr. Tom Sullivan. moved to appLuve. the minutes of
September 1, 1992..
David O'Brien seconded the motion..
The motion was appkuved. nnanhmnusly.
* Chairman Hal Taylor moved to adjourn at 7:45 p.m. .
David O'Brien seconded the motion.
The motion was approved unanimously.
