Reviewed Mr. William 0. Parkers' (Planning Consultant AIP) work proposal to provide Friendswood a unique central theme for architectural and landscape design which would apply to new building programs and reno­ vation of existing buildings. The FPC, after discussion, approved the proposal, (approximately $2,000 dollars) and presented it to the Mayor and Council. ACTION: Council will study and discuss further with FPC Chairman. 2! Circulation Thoro ughfares. The Galveston County Urban Transportation office forwarded a memorandum to the FPC stating that there exists some variation in the thoroughfares as depicted between the Bovay Engineering Interim Report #2 and their (Galveston County) circu­ lation map. They further stated that either circulation plan was acceptable, but that they would like to know which one Friendswood prefers. The FPC reviewed the variations, which were minor, and generally preferred the thoroughfares as depicted in the Bovay Interim Report #2. This item was also brought up with the Mayor and Council. ACTION: A response memorandum will be forwarded by either the FPC or City Council within 60 days. Respectfully submitted, �'u:=�
