Minutes of Planning Commission Meeting
June 5, 1967
Members present -Coe, Saurenman, Banfield, and Grace
Also present were Mssrs. Charles Schaefer and Gill Dixon from
Bovay Engineers, Inc. and Mr. Walsh of Walsh Engineering.
1.The draft of the contract with Bovay and Walsh has been prepared by the StateHealth Department (the adJninistrators for the Federal Government).and sent to the parties concerned for their comments. It is imperative
that we get our comments in as soon as possible.

Most of the evening was spent in familiarization with pertinent parts of the contract.
?. Conununications received (belated)
a.City of Danbury, Texas
Requesting meeting with Friendswood flanning Commissionconcerning building code ordinances.
b.From Taylor Stores Development Co.Requesting certain deviation in the plating of certain
lots, generally to decrease in size of Sunmeadow Development.
Instructions were given to answer the above communication in the affirmative to a. above and in the negative to b. above.
3.The Fire Department presented a problem associated with rating of
plats for hydrant location and insurance key rate. They requested
to be consulted in all plats submitted to the Planning Commissionfor approval.
It was recommended that they immediately seek to clarify ordinance 23A concerning this area and that in the meantime they work closely with
the City Engineer.
It is requested that the City Council enter the following into their minutes: "The city engineer is requested to consult with the city Fire Department prior to approving all subdivision plats submitted to him for his approval".
