MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION , DECEMBER 14, 1964
A regular meeting of the Friendswood Planning Commission was held December 14, 1965, 8.oo p.m.
Minutes of the November 23, 1964 meeting stood approved as read by motion of Tony Banfield, second Dean Saurenman,motion unanimous.
Present were W.L. Boyle, Dean Saureman, Gerald Hollis, Dean Saurenman.
Also present were Harry Wagner, Mrs. Arehardt
Tony Banfield reports that though the county will give a proposed route of Sunset Drive, the right-of-way route by the Clawson is still in question.
Gerald made a motion that the members be given notice of the meetings so that they won't forget them. Dean Saurenman seconded the motion; motion unanimous.
Dean Saureman made a motion that it be recommended to the City Council that Melody Lane right-of-way to the County line be 80 1 • Motion seconded by Gerald Hollis; motion unanimous.
Gerald Hollis will look in to the status and possibilities of Leisure Lane.
Dean Saureman made a motion that it be recommended to City Council that Merriewood Drive/ Castlewoad Drive, and Heritage and its possible extension have a 80 1 right-of-way .Motion seconded by Tony Banfield, motion.: unanimous. Dean Saureman made a motion that it be recommended that no floor level of living space be less than 23.5 sea level. Motion seconded by Tony Banfield; motion unanimous.
H.i. Speck asked the Planning Commission to consider the location of theproposed Church of Christ on its site especially relative to parkingfacilities.
