The main point of this meeting was: talking to Mr. Wilcox of Allen Field Enterprises about Friendswood Village, a Rental Home Project situated partly in Brazoria County and partly in Galveston County and including a part of Friendswood 100 1 buffer strip. It is to be on a 57 acre tract; almost or about 200 houses; market valued at about$17,000 each; six floor plans; as many elevations; strictly one ownership rental project; $125.00 monthly plus utilities; may have to have two utilities services because of location; single metered utilit ies; everything furnished such as grass cutting, playgrounds, utilities. They agreed with Pearland to keep as individual ownership; all public vehicles may have access to roads in project; sewer and water installation and maintenance at their expense. Pearland (in Minutes ) has okayed their side; given easements for drainage-along roads and Marys Creek. Streets -8" stabilized shell with "hard top surface; 60 1 roads with open drainage ditches which makes them about 40 1• It is not to be filed as a subdivision but as metes and bounds. If Council requires, they will file particular instruments. It was decided that the Planning Commission, City Engineer, and City Attorney meet to review this plan and make recommendations to City Council for an answer to Mr. Wilcox. Wilbert Boyle will arrange an appointment with Mr. Wilcox the early part of next week.
Meeting adjourned.
