Meeting Minutes of August 23,2018 at 7 p.m.
Friendswood City Hall, Council Chambers

1. Call to order
The public meeting began at 7 p.m.
Lauren Griffith Associates discussed progress on the Downtown District Improvement Plan which
included a presentation in the Council Chambers explaining the goals and objectives of the project and
summarizing overall feedback from the two previous public meetings, survey, and meetings with
stakeholders. Proposed downtown improvement projects were presented by Ms. Griffith as well as
branding designs for downtown's unique image and wayfinding signage by Core Design Studio. After the
presentation,the consultant team met in the lobby of City Hall to speak with participants which will be
documented as part of the public input process.
2. Adjournment
With no further business to discuss,the meeting was adjourned at 8:34 p.m.
