Addition to present house, 14' x 50' consisting of a

Addition of 9' x 12' storeroom.
Foundation and entire structure to be built according
to plans and specifications and to pass city inspections.
Exterior walls will be brick. Roof to match existing.,

Move gas meter.
Move present A/C.
Install a new A/C for addition.

MINUTES OF. THE . SPECIAL MEETING .OF THE ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
!. OF THE -CITY OF -FRIENDSWOOD -WHICH - WAS - HELD AT CITY HALL ON
JULY 31 , 1989 WITH THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS CONSTITUTING A QUORUM:

CHAIRMAN TAYLOR CALLED THE MEETING . TO ORDER AND APPOINTED
ALTERNATE MEMBERS HOWARD YEAGER AND ANN TALBOT REGULAR MEMBERS
FOR THIS MEETING.
CHAIRMAN TAYLOR EXPLAINED TO . THE BOARD MEMBERS AND TO AUDIENCE
THE REASON FOR THE SPECIAL CALLED MEETING REGARDING THE
APPLICATION OF DIANE KANE WAS DUE TO THE FACT THAT NO VOTES CAN
BE CAST UNLESS THERE IS A QUORUM OF MEMBERS PRESENT AND THAT ALL
VOTES CAST MUST BE TAKEN AT THE CALLED MEETING AND NOT OVER THE
TELEPHONE.

INPUT REGARDING REQUEST FROM DIANE KANE , SEEKING VARIANCE OF 3 . 8
FEET FROM EXISTING BUILDING LINE AT THE LOCATION OF 905
LANCASTER , . REGENCY ESTATES SUBDIVISION.
MRS . KANE STATED THEY ARE ADDING ONTO THE HOME AND WOULD LIKE TO
FOLLOW THE CURRENT ALIGNMENT OF THE EXISTING STRUCTURE AND WOULD
REQUIRE A SETBACK VARIANCE OF 3 . 8 FEET FROM THE EXISTING BUILDING
LINE TO BE GRANTED . DISCUSSION FOLLOWED THE PRESENTATION.
HEARING NO FURTHER INPUT THE PUBLIC' HEARING WAS CLOSED .
"HOWARD YEAGER MADE THE MOTION TO GRANT THE VARIANCE OF LOCATION
OF 905 LANCASTER .
DAVID O 'BRIEN , III SECONDED THE MOTION . MOTION WAS UNANIMOUS.
REGULAR MEMBER DR . TOM SULLIVAN ARRIVED AT THIS TIME .
HOWARD YEAGER STATED HE IS GOING TO ABSTAIN FROM ATTENDING THE
MEETING OF AUGUST 22 , 1989 REGARDING METROPOLITAN MOVING AND
STORAGE BECAUSE OF BUSINESS TIES IN THE CITY.
MOTION WAS MADE AND SECONDED TO ADJOURN AT 7 : 45
