PETITION OF AGREEMENT
We, the undersigned, are residents of Wedgewood Village
Subdivision in Friendswood and neighbors of Phil and. Sarah Adldson '
of 5110 Edenvale Ct.
We are aware of the request for variance the Adldssons have
made to the Planning and Zoning Board. We have also been informed
by the family of their needs and how it affects us, the surrounding
homeowners.
We lmow the Building Official has proposed a two-story option
instead of the plan they have designed. In our view, this option would be
more intrusive to us the surrounding homeowners.
We understand the appeal and are in full agreement and support
of their plan to improve their home and maintain the visual integrity of
the area that affects their neighbors.

Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the City
of Friendswood which was held at City Hall on September 28, 1999 at 7:00 PM
with the following members present constituting a quorum:

Chairman Hal Taylor called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. .
Assistant City Secretary, Linda S. Thornton administered the Oath of Office
to reappointed regular members, Ron Decker, David O'Brien and alternate
member, Tracy Goza.
h C airman Taylor, called the hearing to order to receive public input
regarding Philip and Sarah Adkison's request for a variance for property
located at 5110 Edenvale Court, Lot 17, Block 14, Wedgewood Village
Subdivision, Section 4, Harris County, Texas, for exterior required side
yard, from required 20' to 101 ; required rear yard, from required 25' to
23 .5' lot coverage, from 35% maximum to 42.7%. City of Friendswood Code,
Appendix C-Zoning, Section 7.Q.3, Chapter 34 Floods, Section 34-60 (d) .
Discussion followed with Philip and Sarah Adkison explaining their request,
and submitting a petition and a letter of approval from the Wedgewood
Village Homeowners Association. Hardships: 1. Family has out grown size
of home; 2. Substandard lot size.
Hearing no further input the Public Hearing was closed.
* David O'Brien made a motion to Approve the variance at 5110 Edenville, Lot
17, Block 14, Wedgewood Village Subdivision, Section 4, Harris County,
Texas, based on a sub-standard lot size.
Seconded by Ann Talbot
Motion approved unanimously
