Taylor Vice-Chairman Dr. Tom Sullivan Regular Member Mary Ellen Bellard Regular Member David O'Brien, III Regular Member Ann Talbot Building Inspector Nick Capuano Assistant to City Secretary Jane Tollett Chairman Taylor called the meeting' to order and noted all regular member of the Board of Adjustment. were present., Chairman Taylor. noted Kentucky. Fried ,Chicken and FEMA Appeals Board Applicant on the agenda for tonights meeting have been deleted. Chairman Taylor called for public input regarding request from Mr.& Mrs. Faris Tabor for a five feet side setback to build addition to apartment of garage at location of 309 Carey Lane, Lori Woods Subdivision. Mr.& Mrs. Tabor presented building plans to the board and stated the addition is a room above existing garage and is not an apartment. They stated they are requesting a ten foot side setback because of ordinances today and - the existing garage was built prior to ten foot setback rule. Discussion followed at length between Mr. and Mrs. Tabor and the Board of Adjustment. I Chairman Taylor called for public input regarding request from James Coursey for special exception from height requirement of allowable thirty-five feet . at location of 502 Richmond, Heritage Estates Subdivision. I James Coursey stated he is .building a home and the question to be considered is the chimney considered a portion of the structure being built and he is requesting a special exception because of the 35 foot height requirement. Discussion -followed at length between Mr. Coursey and the Board of Adjustment. Chairman Taylor called for public input regarding request from Antonio and Diane Nicolas for variance of eight feet rear setback to build home at location of 5479 Appleblossom, Wedgewood Village Subdivision. 1 i i 8 Mr. and Mrs. Nicolas stated the new home is being built on a uniquely shaped lot and presented a plat of lot and structure. They said in order to get as much home on the lot as possible an eight foot rear setback is required. Discussion followed at length between Mr. and Mrs. Nicolas and the .Board of Adjustment. At this time the public hearing was closed. **Ann Talbot made the motion to grant the variance at location of 309 Carey Lane, Lori Woods Subdivision to building addition to apartment of garage. Dr. Tom Sullivan seconded the motion. The motion was unanimous. **Dr. Tom Sullivan made the motion to grant the variance at location of 502 Richmond , Heritage Estates Subdivision, for a special exception from height requirement. Mary Ellen Bellard seconded the motion.
