Gentlemen:
This letter is to request a written varience" from the established
procedure of a 7k foot side set back for the dwelling at 711 Tangle-
wood Drive, legal description as follows:
Lot 3, Block 1,
Dunbar Estates, Sec. 1,
Galveston County, Texas
The reason this request is necessary is that the lot-"was surveyed
and flaged incorrectly, at the time the house was built, by Shanks
Surveyors in 1977. This error was discovered in August,-_ 1979, due
to, the fact that lot five, of the same block, and subdivision was
sold requiring a new survey by the buyer and lendor. We have en-
closed copies of the original survey at the time of our closing,
certified on 12/19/77, and the current survey certified on 8/17/79.
Both surveys certified by Shahks••Surveyorsr_of Houston, Texas. As
you can see by the current survey, our home has only a 3.8 foot at
the left side rear corner, thus, requiring our request for this
varience.
Your help and cooperation in this matter is appreciated. Please
advise us of your decision as soon as possible.
