SPECIAL MEETING

1.The joint public hearing was called to order at 7:17pm with the following people in
attendance:
Chairman Kevin Holland
Commissioner Mike Huss
Commissioner Ruben Garcia
City Attorney Bobby Gervais
Mona Miller, Planner
Frank Manigold, Deputy Dir. of CD
Vice Chairman Mark McLean
Commissioner Hassan Moghaddam
City Council
City Manager Roger Roecker
Morad Kabiri, Director of CD
Aubrey Harbin, Development Specialist
2.Receive comments from the public, both oral and written, regarding:
A.Proposed zone classification change from Neighborhood Commercial (NC) to
Single Family Residential (SFR) at 2302 Old Road, being 1 acre of land
situated in the John Dickinson League, Abstract 9, and being a po1tion of Lot 52,
Slone Subdivision, originally recorded in Volume 254-A, Page 6, G.C.M.R. and
transferred to Volume 3, Page 71A, G.C.M.R., said 1 acre also being described in
a deed filed for record in Volume 2371, Page 233, G.C.D.R.; Galveston County,
Friendswood, Texas
FOR:
Don Seyfert, Friendswood, stated that he is in favor of the proposed zone change.
He explained that the prope1ty was zoned SFR, then it was changed to NC and
now is being requested to change back to SFR. He stated that he is trading one
acre of land with the developers of West Ranch in order to improve the drainage
for Tributary # 1 and the school.

3.This portion of the meeting was adjourned at 7:19pm.

3.Consideration and possible action regarding a proposed zone classification change from
