TO BE HELD AT 5:30 PM ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2022, AT THE BAKER
CONFERENCE ROOM, LIBRARY, 416 S FRIENDSWOOD DR., FRIENDSWOOD,
TEXAS, REGARDING THE ITEMS OF BUSINESS ACCORDING TO THE AGENDA
LISTED BELOW:

4. PUBLIC COMMENT
In order to comply with the provisions of the Texas Open Meetings Act, the City Council
may not deliberate any item not listed on the agenda, as such, the City Council will listen to
public comment and may (i) refer the item to City Management for further action or (ii) direct
staff for the placement of said item on a future agenda. During public comment, the public
shall refrain from any outbursts, or interjections including but not limited to: applause,
disparaging noises and remarks . Furthermore, any personnel complaints against a City
employee, aside from the City Manager, City Attorney or Municipal Judge, shall not be
discussed and shall be referred to City Management.
5. PROPOSED ORDINANCES
A. Consider an ordinance granting a franchise agreement to Waste Collections
of Texas for the collection, hauling, recycling, and disposal of municipal solid
waste and recyclable materials in the City of Friendswood.
6. DISCUSSION
A. Receive and discuss a presentation regarding a proposed development
project for the 3800 block of FM 528.
7. EXECUTIVE SESSION
A. Recess into and convene into an executive session pursuant to Sections
551.071 and 551.087 of the Texas Government Code to deliberate the offer
of a financial or other incentive to a business and to seek the advice of the
City's attorney on legal matters related thereto.
8. ADJOURNMENT
PUBLIC NOTICE IS GIVEN THAT IN ADDITION TO ANY EXECUTIVE SESSION LISTED
ABOVE, THE CITY COUNCIL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ADJOURN INTO EXECUTIVE
SESSION AT ANY TIME AS AUTHORIZED BY THE TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE
SECTIONS 551.071 - 551.090 TO DISCUSS ANY MATTERS LISTED ABOVE.
THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD IS COMMITTED TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE
AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT. THIS FACILITY IS WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE
