The City Manager reported that recent rains have caused an increase in the mosquito population.
Even the smallest of puddles can breed thousands of mosquito larvae because they lay their eggs
in standing water or slow moving water. Everyone can help reduce the number of new mosquitoes

spraying city facilities/parks. Residents can also contact their respective county to request spraying
in a specific area.
